the kundalini craze

One of the visions prior to kundalini energy fully releasing, is large, roaring (deafening actually) fire

Here we go again.....

I've been utterly flabberghasted to be on some social media sites where lots of people are talking about "their kundalini". How it is so active. How it goes up and down. How it's released all of their traumas. How it's wrecked their life.

And even people asking for (free and quick ) advice on how to awaken it.

Even some of the advice handed out amazes me. A lot of what is preached is not making any sense to me.

For goodness sakes. Asking for a speedy kundalini awakening - this is very First World and I feed that just handing out spiritual techniques, without being available for any problems that arise - I just won't do this as it's irresponsible.

So, what is kundalini?

It is a greatly magnified energy which resides within us all. It is the strongest and most powerful of energies. We have many types of energy: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual. Kundalini is 100% to do with spirituality, but, and this is very important, it is not at all necessary for it to be awakened within a lifetime. Not at all. And it actually is quite rare for it to just be revealed without having done prior energy and consciousness work.

Although, looking at social media, it seems that many people do believe that this has happened to them.

And reading some of the posts and the descriptions of "awakening kundalini", yes, absolutely. It has definitely happened for some people.

Othertimes, what people describe,  is simply trauma being released. And honestly, this can be triggered off by strange memories, a smell, the sound of a voice, something that we read, or see. Many things. Including having a healing session.

For some, when horrible hidden memories emerge and are then labelled as kundalini. This I feel is not good. Healing, and/or counselling are what are needed here. Not spiritual gas-lighting.

The thing about trauma, is it can hide, dormant for a long time. And this is a protection thing, strangely. Because it is so hard to handle dreadful memories. And they can be released can be from so many things, for example: a smell, something that we see out of the corner of our eye, a sound, in a massage. I'm truly sorry to tell people that this is not an awakening, nor is it kundalini. Most people don't believe me.

Oue three bodies and sheaths

Chakras and kundalini reside in our subtle body. This body has three layers, or sheaths.

The first is the pranic sheath. It involves several types of prana/life-force, which feeds our physical body, and also feeds the next sheath in the subtle body, the consciousness sheath. When this pranic layer gets very strong, it can "rattle" our traumas and deep emotions. Simply because these "cover" the pranic layer. The sudden release of these traumas is very disturbing for anyone. And, is quite different from the release of hidden trauma described above.

I can assure you that a pranic sheath awakening is a major happening and can precede awakening Manipura/navel chakra, and also kundalini.

The consciousness sheath usually ... and I don't know how to properly say this, but it's in deep states of meditation, that it starts to "move". Visual "stuff" sort of erupts in those deeper states, and ... it's like visual vomit. (Sorry to be so explicit!) In deep meditation, it cannot be stopped. This is an exhausting stage and can go on for a long time. It makes one very tired, as deeper areas of consciousness reveal themselves, and it can be like being a deep sleep and having a jumble of pictures flashing through your mind.

They are impressions, and memories, often distorted, going back through eons of your incarnations. Many of which don't make sense.

If this area of our being wakes up, and we haven't been going through a process of "purifying" our mind via daily meditation, I 100% can see how terrifying this could be.

Anyways, I'll do more on another post. I hope that this "sheds some light" on the subject of kundalini.

Please feel free to comment, whether here on on messenger. All opinions and experiences are welcome.

I seem to have written about this from time to time. I do care, very much, about people being fed misinformation which can then become mainstream.

But anyway, same old rant, over
